Superior University’s Faculty of Allied Health Sciences organised a one-day hands-on training workshop on the Importance of Citation in Research Publications.

Mr. Qaiser Iqbal, certified trainer and member of the Mendeley community of the UK emphasized the ethical considerations and standards involved in citing sources. Mr. Qaiser also discussed various citation styles and the importance of adhering to them, as well as how to avoid plagiarism, a serious offence in research. The session also highlighted the benefits of good citation practices, including increased visibility and recognition of a researcher’s work, which can lead to increased funding opportunities, collaborations, and career advancement.

This hands-on training session was organised in compliance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals especially, Goal No. 4 – Quality Education.
